A Very Small Renovation Idea

People are always sending me articles about real estate. These run the gamut from super-luxury listings in far-flung places to interest rate data breakdowns to hyper-localized market analyses. They are all great and I appreciate people thinking of me – it definitely helps with blog ideas! I must say, though, that the most fun articles to read are the ones about renovation. One piece that I recently received from a friend puts a spotlight on something that is so simple but so important: bathroom mirrors.

The saying goes that kitchens and bathrooms sell houses. While there might be a little more to it than that, a fresh kitchen and beautiful bathrooms definitely do go a long way. In the Purewow.com article that I received, they highlight the bathroom mirror as an easy and relatively inexpensive way to make that room seem bigger, brighter, and newer. The article continues to say that, “with so many types of mirrors on the market, what should you choose? Unless you love the modern farmhouse look, skip it—that style proved to be least popular in the bathroom... This tip is so simple but really does make a huge difference! Combine a new mirror with some paint and a special light fixture, and your bathroom might just look brand new!
