This week, I had the pleasure of attending a Seraphic Fire performance at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church here in Coral Gables, and it was nothing short of exceptional.
Seraphic Fire is Florida’s Grammy-nominated vocal ensemble, and over the past two decades, they have become a staple of the local and national arts community. Their roster is populated by performers, teachers, and scholars who represent the best of the American school of vocal and instrumental training, led by its founder, Patrick Dupre Quigley.
Founded in Miami, Seraphic Fire has earned a reputation for musical precision, thoughtful programming, and performances that stay with you long after the final note. Hearing them in such an intimate and historic setting made the evening particularly memorable.
For anyone looking to elevate their holiday season or simply enjoy world-class choral music, I highly recommend attending one of their upcoming performances.
