In case you did not know, Ultra Music Festival has been postponed until 2021 over fears of the spread of coronavirus. If you are unfamiliar with this longstanding Miami event, it started as a 1-day festival in 1999, and has since grown to a 3-day annual event that would have been held in Bayfront Park from March 20-22. It is a showcase for the biggest names in electronic dance music and it typically hosts over 150,000 fans from all over the world. While I have never been to Ultra, it is a big moneymaker for the city! That said, I do understand that the authorities are being prudent by cancelling this year’s event; however, I am sure that there are many angry and disappointed fans out there. What are your thoughts on Ultra being cancelled?
