I am not going to lie to you and say that it’s all about the game, though. I do love a good Super Bowl ad. Remember the Apple “1984” commercial? I happen to be reading 1984 for my book club, and that Apple spot really hit the nail on the head. More recently, I adored the little boy dressed as Darth Vader who managed to turn on a Volkswagen! I must admit that the Budweiser Clydesdales are always so sweet that they bring a tear to my eye!
In addition to the football and the commercials, I am also intrigued by this year’s halftime show. What will Lady Gaga wear?! And how will they take such an “out there” performer and make her appeal to the masses? Only time will tell! Hopefully something outrageous will come out of the performance – more fodder for my blog!
