I was going to write a productive post today with an analysis of the market and give a recap of what’s going on including some facts & trends and prices per square foot, etc. But given the week that I’ve had, it’s almost better expressed telling you what my office has been like recently!
The past two weeks have been the busiest I’ve seen in years. My office is working 14 contracts right now as well as juggling my usual workload of buyers and sellers, and I’m going to be listing 3 new houses in the next week. The market is HOT! I’m not just saying this to tout myself – I’m sharing this because this is what’s going on in Miami right now. I am hearing this exact same story from many other realtors in my office. So the market has spoken! People are excited about buying real estate again. I was previewing properties earlier today that had just come on the market in the last two days and at one of the homes, there were four different realtors showing it. That house won’t last the week!
As I have been saying, while prices are down, we really have gotten ourselves back to a balanced market and this activity certainly reflects that.
Next week I’ll be back on board with some detailed facts & trends – not just my office’s view on things – but it was hard not to acknowledge the week I’ve just had!
