Coconut Grove Street Names Have Changed!

Has anyone else noticed that they finally changed the street names in the North Grove? There’s a pocket of streets between 22nd Ave & 27th Ave just south of US1 that used to be numbered streets instead of named streets. They were automatically given a negative bias because when people heard the address, they assumed they weren’t a part of the Grove, since every other street in the Grove has a name. A group of homeowners pushed to have them changed, and it’s finally gone into effect! But beware – if you’re used to the numbered streets over there, you will get lost. Here are the changes that were made:
– 27th Way became Tequesta Way
– 27th Terr became Secoffee Terrace
– 27th Lane became Tequesta Lane
– 28th Street became Overbrook Street
– 23rd Ave became Kirk Street
– 24th Avenue became Calusa Street
